LS1 & T56 in 1985 El Camino questions I have been looking on Ebay at some LS1's with T56 6 speed transmissions. I am very interested in replacing the stock 305, but by the looks of things this could be too big of a job. Has anyone out there attempted this? Any hints on what to look out for?

There a lot of swaps int both A and G bodies, just do a search.
