Awesome! I knew a family in high school...all 4 brothers restored studes. Silver hawks and a commander. Sweet looking cars when done right.

Thanks. This week-end was the first time out with it, took it to the season opening cruise night at the local IHOP. Was the only Studebaker there, was the only LS1 there in fact, except for a Corvette that did not even open his hood. You are right, it brought a lot of surprised looks and a lot of compliments. I even got the "Nifty Fifties plaque!" I also took it to a Studebaker Drivers Club meeting and our Street Rod Club meeting and everyone really liked it, even the Studebaker purists! I told them all what a big help everyone at LS1Tech.com has been. I am working out a few bugs, but it runs pretty darn strong! I am going to need some traction bars for sure. This is going to be a fun hot rod summer!

I like the air intake plumbing. Do you have P/N's for the black elbow and the rest of the plumbing

I got all my intake plumbing pieces at www.airflo.com, another good source is www.intakehoses.com. The elbow is a 4"-3.5" reducing elbow. I chose a reducing hump hose from 3.5-3" as well, but could probably have used a staight connecter sleave to the short aluminum tubing just as well. The tubing sells in 12" increments. I think the whole thing without the filter was only about $30.
