Thumbs up Photos - Year One Experience 2006

As promised, I snapped a TON of photos at the event. There were tons of sweet cars at the show, and I was glad to see several of them doing laps on the track too.

Everyone, enjoy!!!

That '69 sat perfectly. Wheels/tires didn't rub anywhere either!

Great pics thanks for sharing. Looks like protouring and lateral-g.net were well represented. I was definitely digging that black and silver 67 Chevelle.

Staceys 69 looks so good with the 18's, I'm just worried about ride quality going from 17 to a 18, If some of you don't know, I'm mini tubbing, the rear so I can order the rims and tires around the car,

anybody want to comment on ride quality between 17 VS 18"'s let me hear em, Thaks Steve

No ride difference really. Even 19s ride similar (surprisingly). Suspension setup means more to ride quality than the actual tire size.

amount of rubber and sidewall height do make a difference, though.. we went from 17's to 20's on our suburban, took a hit to ride quality very slightly, but with the wider tires, handling (especially high speed) and braking were improved 100%.. I think its mostly an issue with susp as tony said, and the amount of tire. We increased the OD of the tire 1", with 45 series, and its not at all uncomfortable. Ultra low-pro's SUCK for ride quality, you shudder as you hit every little bump, thinking your wheels are going to bend. as long as you keep enough meat between your wheel and the road, and dont get really heavy wheels, there prob wont be much difference.. Wish I could mount some good wheels.. if only I had some spindles with hubs... .... /hijack..
