Limits of a 5.3L iron block? (LM7)
I've heard that just putting a Z06 cam in there would yield stock-like drivability but an extra 40+hp on the top end... sounds good, but how much could you squeeze out by shaving a bit off the heads and/or using thinner gaskets to bump C/R, along with a mild port/polish job?
I'd like to attain 350rwhp with the ability to dump a 100 shot of nitrous on it later down the road.






. I can tell you that with 115K on a 2001 5.3L with a 4l60e trans and a 8.5" rear end you should have 253Hp at the wheels.
