Default BMW E36 LS1 VS C6 Corvette and Ferrari F40

Ok the C6 was a good heads up run, the F40 was driven by a friend of the owner not to it's potential, but not far off. Nice guy took me for a ride after

is the motor stock or heads cam??? and what kind of gear is in it???

Engine isn't stock

The C6 vid is cool.... you guys are hauling *** down that straightaway.

The F40 vid is over in a second and hard to tell anything.

Man someone needs to make a decent kit for decent bucks! I have a 98 328 that REALLY needs a LS1 that way I'll stop drooling over CTS-V's

Well its tough because of the exaust headers, I'm sure it would take alot of sales for the price to come down. But something 2500- 3500 in a good DIY kit would make it easier to swallow. The kits that are out there are much more and seem to be in the developmental stages.

That would make the swap somewhere in the neighborhood of 5500 to 6500 which is what I've seen the swap kits start at. Maybe I'm smoking crack and it can't be done??? You would know alot better than me
