LSX engine in a SY/TY
if you pull the turbo v-6 is it really still a syclone?
Coming from a former typhoon owner i can undoubtably say that whether it's still a syclone or not, it sure will see the pavement alot more often!
It's almost worth the trouble/money of the swap just to never have to mess around with those damn vaccum lines ever again.
As far as still being a SY. It will be. It will always have an original 1 in 3000 vin number, #354, and will always be a very rare example of GM sports vehicles. It will make the same power as i was looking for in my stroker v6 build up but with less stress on the engine. Meaning i will have to work on it less (if you can imagine working on a Sy less!).
syclone/typhoon made by gm ~285/295 awd a/w intercooler more hard plastic lines than any other vehicle ever made
The absolute best boost launch I have ever experienced!!

BTW What does "IM INTO THE FB" mean. didnt get that part.
Thanks!

But to go back on topic, there was a heavy poster over on syty that was doing a lsx swap into his ty. I believe that it was a blue/gray truck. Lemme go and see if I can find it.

with lsx swaps.then i kept reading and reading and didn't find out what it meant.so i asked a simple question and got smart-*** answers like i was from mars. Im a non-SY/TY "lover" so it didnt click with me. there hasn't been a huge buzz about them for quite some time.FB = firebird. and i am not from south-east texas. not even close. so sorry about the "smartassery", but a couple of you asked for it.
