Electrical Bulkhead /Wire Crimping Question

Electrical Bulkhead /Wire Crimping Question I'm starting to wire up my 69 Camaro with a new Painless wiring system for the car and a Speartech modified LS1 wiring loom. I need to run approximately 16 wires from the engine compartment to inside the dash area. I was looking at American Autowire's catalog and they have a nice two piece 21 port bulkhead (bolts together like the stock wiring harness on the fireware for $30).
My question is this....based on the special wire terminals for the bulkhead, it looks like they require a very expensive wire crimping tool (double crimp) which are $90 in their catalog (ouch). I looked at Painless and Ron Francis catalogs and they didn't have anything close to what I need for the bulkhead.
Surely there's is a cheaper tool that can be used to fasten these terminals...anyone got any suggestions as I want to make sure I don't screw up these connections by taking a shortcut...please advise!
