Default Wiring and trans questions

Well, I'm finally getting things going on the LS1 Celica swap and I have a few questions. I'm doing the wiring harness myself and noticed that on the red ECU connector there are pins 9 (fuel pump relay control) and 30 (fuel enable control) that seem to do the same thing. Do I need both of these hooked up? If so where do I hook up the fuel enable control, the fuel pump relay is pretty self explanatory. Also, I found pin 32 on the blue ECU connector for CPP control, what the hell is CPP and do I need it?

In other areas of the car, the trans tunnel is really tight and it would be really helpful if I didn't have the reverse lockout solenoid in there. Has anyone taken it out before and just covered the hole with a plate? It seems like reverse is far enough off the normal shift pattern that you wouldn't hit it accidently but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knows of any side effects of taking it off. Thanks for your time and hopefully I'll have the first LS1 celica running in a few more weeks, maybe less if the headers I have coming are close.

CPP = clutch pedal position. I didn't use it. I didn't use reverse lock-out or fuel enable control either. If I remember correctly I think I have the reverse lock-out solenoid in the tranny but no wires going to it. I think Fuel Enable control is part of the VATS (vehicle anti theft system) and I just didn't hook it up and my engine runs flawlessly.

You need the fuel pump relay control unless you are going to manually turn the f-pmp on and off. The fuel enable control is part of the VATS system, as long as you delete the VATS in the computer you will not need this wire. Otherwise you will need to hook a VATS bypass box into this wire.

I ended up using 31 wires from the Blu connector and 29 from the Red connector out of a total 160 wires.

What year is the Celica? Got a website or pics?

No doubt the tunnel is tight- I was going to go w/ a T56 on my MK III Supra (link in sig) until I figured it wouldn't fit.
