Need Tach help

Got my 61 Vette up and running with a 2000 LS1 from a F body.I have two glitches. Not getting a tach output signal. I have dakota digital and have set to 4 cyl and low voltage. If I trace my wire back to the ecm, should it be at pin 121? Also my cooling fan runs as soon as I start the engine. Any suggestions on tracing the cause of this.

What is pin 121? There are pins 0-80 red and blue, no 121. At least that is my understanding.

Looks like it should be pin 10 Red from the pin out. Circuit 121.

I can't help with the tach, but for the fan it sounds like terminal 85 on your fan relay is being grounded somewhere besides from the ECU. Your harness should be the only connection to that terminal. I know this because I also had terminal 85 running to a ground. The ECU turns the fan on by grounding the circuit, not by applying power. Hope that helps

tach wire i think is white. I just hooked mine up
