is this 67/68 RS SS worth anything?

also, there is a reason everyone wants the 69 body style over the 67-68 and I dont have to explain why. Here is a picture of my 69 RS/SS, the car is all original "exept the wheels" and has the original interior and a lot of its original paint.

That is a 67, you can tell by the vent window and lack of side marker lights. Restored or LSx/T56 swap, either way it would be a fun ride . If you don't get it, I sure somebody else will.

This was the top dog at the start of Camaro production.
396 and Z/28 didnt come out until late in the year.
I dont see anything to lead me believe its not legit. Check the tag codes. Get the correct ones from a Camaro site. The car needs alot of work. If you are going to do a LS1 swap I would look for a base 6 cylinder or 307 car in better condition. I would want to restore that car to original even if its not a 396.

That 67 in the pics is worth $4-7k to the right buyer, depending on whether the original engine and trans are in there. If it has the original driveline, I would not convert it. And if it were me, I'd look at whether I could make money flipping it. If you got it for say $4K, but felt you could clean it up, maybe get it running and driveable, and flip it for $9K that's what I would do.
You can see why restored ones are selling for $25-50K all day long.
I had a 1969 Z/28 with 48,000 miles on the body a few years ago, sold it to a guy in KY who I think was going to repaint it, do a light resto, and flip it.

Dude... If you have the money and it doesn't cost a ton, just buy the car. You can do something with it. A lot of people are hating and saying it's only worth an LSX swap. I love LSX motors, but theres not much cooler then a good sounding carbuerated small block. You can work on it as you want and get done whenever. Would be an awesome project.
