Default 6.0L oil pan ?
are all the lsx oil pickup tubes the same? i have to use a fbody pan on my 6.0L -3rd gen swap but I dont know if the pick up tubes are the same. thans for any info.

NO each pan has its own pickup. the f body pan requires an fbody pickup, an fbody windage tray, and an fbody dipstick and tube

above is true, truck stuff with the truck pan, car stuff with the car pan

No,try ebay and I'm pretty sure the 5.3 oilpan (easier to find) is the same as the 6.0. But I take it your looking for the fbody setup? I just sold mine not to long ago on this website

There is a "Holden" oil pan, pick up, windage tray,and dipstick on ebay right now. Does any body have any expirence with this pan or Know if it will work in a 3rd gen car?

I think the Holden pan is a front sump like the GTO so it probably won't work for you.

The Holden pan is the GTO pan. It is front sump (right where the crossmember is on a camaro). You definitely want either the f-body pan or maybe the LS2 Vette pan (might work, but I don't know). Check the FAQ's at the top, they have a bunch of info (including part numbers & even some pictures).

Also, check the For Sale section here on LS1Tech (or post in the WTB section).

thanks again, I will just have to keep looking,btw I have a 6.0L pan, pick up,tray, and dipstick that I dont need any more. so if anyone needs them let me know.
