Help, short O2 sensor? (stock one doesn't fit)
I've got a '02 LS1 that's being mounted onto a thirdgen k-member w/Spohn mounts, and as you can see from the picture, the driver's side O2 sensor will not fit w/stock manifolds. Is there a short O2 sensor available?

Yeah, but the only longtubes available (that I don't have to fabricate myself) are a good $1200 from Hawks. That right there pays for a Spohn tubular k-member (whenever it gets built ) and a set of a-arms.

Have the same problem with my 71 chevelle.. I have less than a 3/8" and have to put the O2 in with the Manifold (mount them together as a unit). Didn't like that idea of not being able to services it without removing and disconnecting the Exhaust and manifold.
I have my manifolds over at my welder right now. He is cutting off and plugging all of the EGR ports and welding in a Bung on the inboards side of the driver side mainfold (about 80-90 degress to the passenger side). Will cap the old Bung.
Pictures if you need them (once I get them back, day or two).

I have completed the Stock Exh Manifold mod's by cutting and plugging the EGR ports, move the Driver side O2 (when down to the local Muffler shop and picked up a O2 Bung for $5.00) and moved it 90 deg to the passenger side. I can even mount the stock Cat's and pipes(not that I ever would LOL).
