92Z LS1 project (come in)
Guys got a few questions. Getting ready to put the motor in my buddies 92Z project. Not looking to really upgrade the fuel rails/system at the moment. How did you/do you suggest we adapt the old system to the stock ls1 system? Just buy a regulator and use fittings to hook it up or what. We got the stock lines still in the engine bay.

You will be running on borrowed time on the stock pump, been there done that lol.
Heres a quick review of my fuel system.
1. Stock 3rd gen tank w/Walbro 255 pump.
2. Feed and return line run to the stock fuel filter location.
3. 99 corvette filter/regulator in the stock fuel filter location. The return line goes on the filter/regulator combo. Then a single feed line from there to the engine bay.
4. 58psi all day long.
A total of $150 into the system, most of that is in the pump.

I used a 98 Tank, cut the filler neck 2 inches so it fit. Then I used the stock 98 lines off the pump and partway to the front. Then used the 91 hard lines in the engine bay and fabbed up a way for the disconnects to work off the stock 98 lines. So basically it all looks stock 98 and dont need any aftermarket regulators or anything.
