Ls1 C3 Im an LT1 guy, but when im donw with my project I was thinking about swaping an LS1 into something. And well I always wanted a Corvette. Id love to swap an LS1 in a C2, but a C3 would be alot cheaper. So has anyone seen it done...or done it? Im not sure if id go M6 or A4. It would be an All around track car, something i can take down to the drag strip, but yet take down to Heartland Park Topeka.
Any ideas?

Nah. I don't think it's possible. Plus they stink at the race track.

One here also,been very happy with the swap so far.Im running a 700r4 behind mine,so far its holding up.
Just got back from a nice cruise with it right now,its like a whole different car now with this motor.

Verdad Gallardo I'll have to get the dims and get back to you. We had to cut 6-8" per side out for the upper mount to make it fit, but that wasn't too difficult. You can also see the other frame mods we had to make to get the mounts in. Again nothing too difficult...
Of course I say it's not too difficult but in the interest of full disclosure...I'm not doing most of the work...
