TAC may be in ECM I just pulled a 5.3 from a 2005 GMC Envoy. The salvage yard guy and I looked everywhere for the throttle actuator control (TAC) module. Then I found a Helm's manual and it looks like the TAC is built into the ECM. The wires from the accellerator pedal feed back through connector C107 to the ECM and then to the throttle body. Siince the Envoy pedal assembly is huge, I'm planning on using my existing cable to rotate the pedal sensor module which I'll mount in the engine compartment.

TAC and pedal wire colors My 2005 Envoy (Trailblazer) pedal sensor has the following wires and here's what the Helm's manual says they do:
White/black--5 volt reference
Dark blue--Pedal sensor signal 1
Brown--low reference
Tan--5 volt reference
Light blue--Pedal sensor signal 2
Purple--low reference
A TAC I have out of a 2004 pickup has those same wires coming out of the connector on the left as you face the TAC plus:
Yellow/black, Dark green, Gray.
The connector on the right is missing so I don't know what colors are there. Seems like your pedal should work if you can figure out the three extra wires, assuming your TAC is same as the one I have.
