for the gauges themselves, i like the C6 the best.
for the actual dash layout, the only way to get it to look right in a chevelle would be something really custom. i mean, modern OEM lines, but fit to the chevelle interior.. just my opinion of course..

I am having a hard time deciding on wether to slightly modernize a SS dash or go with a GTO dash. I think the GTO dash would fit pretty well.

c5 or c6 all the way. I started today on my custom piece that should resemble a 99-02 truck dash for my 69 c-10. I got a 98 t/a cluster and plan on putting a pc monitor where the player and a/c ***** are for tuning, music, etc. I'll try to get some pic's.

Stick with your theme and go C6 so everything will match. If it was a GTO drivertrain I would say go GTO but it's not so stay C6. I saw a 69 Charger on Barrett Jackson that used a 2003 viper drivetrain and interior and it was freakin awesome! I love mixing the old stuff with the new.

only reason im thinking that way, is in the vettes dont you sit more 'on the floor' and in the gto you would sit up more, and with a chevelle being bigger, the gto dash would be the best fit
