ls6 into an 99 trans am

I was just wondering if its possible to put a ls6 into a 99 trans am. If it is what all is needed? I also read up on a ls1 to ls6 conversion kit for gm performance parts. It seems like a good deal. What do you think? Thanks for this info, I know its a lot.

if it's already a LS1, you'd be much better off getting a head/cam package than upgrading to a LS6 in my opinion.

But it's an easy swap, so if you are getting a good deal on the motor, I say go for it.

you can get a set of dart heads and a med sized cam and make a ton more hp in my opinion and probally won't cost as much either. If your going to do it do it right the first time.
