Default Truck power steering Variable orifice solenoid

Did anyone hook up the electronic variable orifice (EVO) solenoid on their conversion? Or do you know what kind of signal it is looking for. I just left it disconnected on my conversion and the power steering is fine. I thought it was just a pressure sensor when I did the conversion, but I was looking over some wiring diagrams today and saw that the steering had speed and position sensors for it and it looks like the EVO valve can be used to increase or decrease steering effort. I was just curious if anyone had used it or figured out how to. I am happy with my steering effort right now, but mabey some rainy day I might want to try screwing around with it to see what it does .
