I got mine from a third gen F-body. They are smaller in diameter and will not intefer with the cylinderhead and coils. The original powerbooster is to large to fit.

The third en booster needs a new bracket or modify the existing to fit properly on th efirst gen.

It's not really special, I just modified the bracket so that the pushrod would line up well with the pedal.

The 3rd gen has different boltpattern to the firewall than the 1st gen, just make it fit and it will work.

What is broke considered these days? I will have installed hydroboost and grand cherokee steering box for under $200. Do you have all discs or disc/Drum setup?

i have drums right now but i found a kit for 400 that includes 2 inch drop spindle , calipers , rotors and everything down to nuts and bolts as well as dust seals. broke for me means i have to scavenge money so my wife doesnt catch me spending it. like today, i sold my extra set of gears to get the money for my coils and brackets. now if i do a brake job on the side i'll have money to go to the junkyard for a booster/master setup....... and so on and so on....

tomorrow im doing a trans filter/fluid change. that will give me money to go brake shopping and she wont know.....

dont get drop spindels. It does make the allready not good Camaro suspention geometry worse.
You can always get an adapter to mount LS1 Camaro or C4/5 Corvette brakes in your car

im useing drop spindels to lower the front 2 inches. big block brand new spring + lightweight ls1 equal very high front end. and how would drop spindles effect geometry??? they just raise the wheel 2 inches. if anything i think it would help the camber want to lean in a little aropund corners(although i could care less about cornering . im not into the whole g-machine fad wich will be gone in two more years anyway). tight fresh stock suspesion is plenty good enough for me thank you very much.

If you do a reaserch @ Team Camaro site you will learn what it does to the geometry but it is up to you and I respect that. You could have the lowering effect with shorter springs or short spring/spring adjusters combination together and have the ability of lowering or raising the front.

Default brakes

i used 4th gen and made my own bracket it is really no big deal you can use the link in my sig and go to my photo albums and in there you will find a template that I made along with pics just print the template and follow the instructions that are on the template and your are done. you just tape the template on a piece of 1/8th steel and then center punch the dots and drill to the specs on the template.

I used the 4th gen calipers and rotors all the way around the car and made my own brackets all my templates are in my photo album if you want to use them.

Default yep it will work

you can just make an adapter plate that will bolt right on your fire wall then cut those studs off of the booster and center the booster up for alignment with the bracket on the firewall and then tack weld it in place mock fit it one last time, check for proper fit, and then weld it permanantly to the bracket you may have to cut the rod on the booster and the old rod with the adjustable clevis that should still be on your pedal and then sleave them together for the right length. but for a guy in your shoes it will not be a problem.

If I can help let me know.
fred

ps
before you get to far be sure you check to make sure your hood will close
