Hey everyone

I have a 1955 2dr hrd top putting a 1998 Ls1 with a 4L60. Does anyone know where I can get the specs on the Oil pan and pick up tube changes that are needed for this conversion.

Street & Performance (479-394-5711) sells modified LS pans and pick-up tubes for use with stock '55 frames. If you are going to modify your pan and tube yourself, you can probably get info from their tech dept.

I have purchased several items from them for my LS7 swap....a little pricey but everything worked great and they were very easy to work with.

 

Look in the LS1 swap FAQ at the top. Lots of pan info in there.

 

Here's some basic dimensions. I have a GTO oil pan (front sump) if you need dimensions / photos for it as well.
