Also chcek out McLeod for moving the shifter to the front plate and will build them custom for you location as you spec it out to them.
They have a Shifter relocation kit to move it to the front plate. Summit has it listed. I researched it before. Search the forum for "T56 shifter relocation"

If the link dosen't work, search for "Shifter Relocation" or my userid for posts. You need a Shifter and a relocation kit that they sell. It will move the shifter to the front inspection plate/location. You will have to dis-assemble the trans some, enough to get the shifter rod out and modify it.
You frist have to call McLeod tech line and tell them your spec of what you want.. then they give you a part number, which can then be order at Summit Racing for a discount or you can paid more to McLeod directly! Sound funny, but they tell you this.
