Cool Hot August Nights in Reno

This may be a little off topic, a thousand pardons if it is. Anyone taking their older conversion up to Hot August Nights? Or just going up there to check it out? First week of August, 5500 cars registered and still more coming. Big swap meet, lot of entertainment, nightly cruises.

http://www.hotaugustnights.net/

I'll be up there with the Studebaker representing the LSx movement. Would love to meet other folks from LS1Tech if anyone is going.

Driving out from Wisconsin for my 5th Hot August Nights. Unfortunately, my '57 Chev LS7 project won't be ready but that's no reason to miss the fun. I'd love to meet you guys. Pat, where are you going to be with that '53 Stude....I'd also love to see it.

We will be staying at the Quality Inn at the corner of S. Virginia and Plumb. I'd love to meet up with you too. I'll send you a PM with my cell #. We will be doing the Saturday Show and Shine downtown, and will visit most of the other places for short stops on Thursday and Friday. Being bright red, it's hard to miss, I have not seen one even close to like it up there so far.

Stu, got your pm.. will reply my cell later on a PM.. Not sure were I'm staying, got to check my buddy who made the booking.. I think it is the Eldorado...?

I well be working hard to get if my Chevelle Started and road ready by then...! PCM is getting Flashed and back to me later this week.

I think all of us "LS1Tech'er" should all meet up ! maybe like at the Summit Racing parking lot or the Shopping mall north of the Peppermill ?, that way the non-Register cars can be together with the Registered cars.

Any Suggestion ? Date/time ?

We will be happy to welcome you if you promise to take the ironing board off your rear deck Maybe you can put a sign on it saying "Future Home of LS1" Everyone is welcome as far as I'm concerned,

My Dad and I will be there with the 442 in my sig. The LSx power is going to have to wait till next year for me too. It'd be cool to meet up though; I'll be at the Atlantis.

How about everyone who can, meet at the A & W at 1-1:30 p.m. on Friday Aug 4? The A&W is at 900 E Plumb. That's at the corner of E Plumb and Harvard Way. I'm open to other ideas if this doesn't work for folks
