LS2 Water Pump

Since I've go some clearance issues to deal with, I would like to know how much shorter is the LS2 water pump than an LS1? From looking at pictures, the tip of the shaft at the pulley appears to be about 2" shorter. Anyone?

Yes I believe it is 2" shorter. Al is building an Ultima and ran into clearance issues.

dont forget you have to pull the pulley out some to line up with your accesories. It pretty much sits flush with everything else in front of the motor. I just installed mine.
