New Schwartz Performance A-Body Chassis
New Schwartz Performance A-Body Chassis Has anyone looked into one of these. They are starting at $2995. Seems pretty damn affordable for all the performance upgrades. I know the C5 chassis idea has been thrown around this looks like a much easier and cheaper solution. The body will bolt directly to the frame. They are selling complete rollers for aroung 11k w/ wheels and brakes. I could buy a new frame instead of a paint job. Very tempting.
Schwartz Performance is 15 minutes from me. I have never been to his shop, but I know this guy knows his stuff. I have seen his Ultima GTR in person and its incredible. I have heard that the chassis are fabricated somewhere wisconsin but are very high quality. they have popped up on ebay from time to time.
Intersting...I'm probably gonna go with Art Morrisons Max-G chassis though partially due to location. I'm 20 min from Art in Seattle area and Schwartz is in IL. Looks nice though. I wonder how they compare??

The Max-G frame is ~$4,600 set up for C5 front suspension. For $2,250 more you get steering rack, NEW C5 a-arms, C5 spindles, and everything to put them on. Looks like great quality! I talked with Wayne Due ( www.waynedue.com) yesterday and he said even he uses their frams on some projects.
Wow I didn't realize you could get it w/ the C5 front suspension for that cheap. Looks like more options available than I thought.

After talking w/ someone at AM they said that their tringulated 4-bar works very well. The pic above shows a 4-link but the pic in the pdf link shows the 4-bar. I called again just now and asked about a 3-link and they said it's in the works. Not sure when it will be done but they have one in testing on a Camaro. I may have to make a visit to their shop soon...
