94 Firebird tach Ok, not sure if there is a better place to ask this question.
I did a recent engine swap and installed a motor with a HEI distributor. This nows has a nasty effect with the tach as the tach will not display and reading of importance above 3000 rpm (the reading can be anything random, but is always below the 3000 mark). It does read correctly up till 3000 rpm.
Any suggestions or anyplace I can check out that may have the info to convert/use the factory tach with a HEI system?
