can i resuse the stock 94 z28 auto transmission crossmember or do i need to get an ls1 t56 crossmember?

what tranny were you runnig in the 94 if it was a t56 then yes if not then you can easily mod it.

car was originally an a4 car. so i guess i just need to get an lt1 t56 crossmember and ill be ok?

yep or just insall it and set it up like you want it and then mod the crossmember to fit where you have the tranny mocked up cause when you change motor mounts things still tend to get just a little off spec. Every custom install is a little different just dont be afraid to fab or alter thing to make them work just dont jerryrig it do it right and you will be okey dokey

remember eathier way you go keep an eye on your pinion angle and dont let it get excessive.
