Default Building a radiator

Guys
I am going to have the radiator built for the LS1 into a 68 camaro I am working on and have a few questions.
#1. What is the hose size on the top and bottom of a stock block?
#2 What size are trans cooler lines? (metric or standard)
#3 Is it better to have inlet and outlet on same side or opposite sides? Does it matter? Whitch needs to be on top,on bottom?
#4 What radiators do you guys use??

Thanks,David

Check with AFCO Racing to see if there's a radiator they catalog that might work for your application. They manufacture their own racing radiators, many to fit specific applications like yours. Their tech help is great. I paid $229 for an aluminum dual pass, dual row ASA radiator with cap delete.

lol, its a 1stgen camaro... THE most popular muscle car for this kind of stuff... not only is there a off the shelf radiator that will work for you, but you have a choice of several!
btw, with the exception of possibly adding one bung for the head coolent bleed, the radiator is identical the SBC one...

I would forget the trans cooler in the radiator and just install a nice seperate unit for the trans.

Post Jegs has one

If you are on a budget and not looking for the bling factor, Jegs (one of their own brand) has one advertised: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...tegoryId=62833 part #555-51950 (manual) and 555-51951 (auto).

On a side note though, has anyone used this setup?
