Ls1 in 2nd gen?

Ls1 in 2nd gen? Has anyone ever tried this? I am curious about some little things, such as A/C. I assume that you must use the ls1's a/c conpressor, but will that attach to the 78 t/a's condensor? Same with power steering. The car had it on there, but can I use what parts I have or must i convert it all to the modern components?

I am currently in the process of doing this exact project. I have picked up my 2000 LS1 w/T-56 trans. I have read that you can use the LS1 power stearing pump if you switch the pressure release spring so the pressure matches that of your stock Rx7 PS system. I believe you can also use the LS1 AC compressor but I have to look into this more.

I believe that he was talking about a second gen f-body. Theres a reference about the A/C lines connecting up to his T/A (trans am) condensor.
There are a few 2nd gen LS1 f-bodies running around, if fact I am trying to convince my friend to convert his right now. If you do a search you can find a bunch of sites where the conversion is written up.
