Would this be the right part to use on a 2005 5.3L motor> since it doesn't have a return line?? (basically will this be the right pressure?....i thought i read somewhere else that the truck motors have a pressure regulator built in to the fuel rail)

Thanks

Look back at the kosmo38 posting 10-16-06 they do the job for a lot less $$ than the Russell fitings.

The older truck motors did have a FPR on the fuel rail, but GM probably had to get rid of that and put the FPR closer to the tank because of emissions regulations. I know that 2001 still had it on the rail, but I`m not sure what year they stopped using fuel rail mounted FPR`s on the trucks.

You should be able to use the vette FPR/filter because as far as I know they are still using the standard 58psi fuel pressure on all LSx motors.

I know this is an ancient thread, but it's also a great thread, so I hope I won't raise too many hackles by dredging it back up.

Anyone know if someone is making a shorter version of the 12" connector yet (as shown below)?

Or anyone with the tool willing to make one for me at a reasonable cost?

Thanks,
Brent

Anyone know what the Vette regulator pressure should be with a stock LS1 Camaro fuel pump?
