first gen wayne due in a second gen?
I have a scale too

When you take the whole package, from disk to disk, it shaved 203lbs. If it was just the frame, I could see what you are saying. Maybe my stock subframe was full of cement, I dont know. Just saying what I saw.
So what did your fully loaded stock frame weigh? How much did the fully loaded aftermarket clip weigh?
Reason I'm skeptical is we are a manufactuer of forged aluminum front spindles for the A/F/X body cars, and even with the incredible light weight of the raw forging, (2.9lbs) fully loaded spindles with brakes over fully loaded factory spindles give 1.5lbs of weight savings. Most people thing it would be close to 10 lbs, but it isn't any where near that.
What we have found on a 1st gen frame is 342lbs with a P/S box and drums.
The Wayne Due frame we installed in its place with C5 items on it was 274 lbs, WITHOUT brakes.
That is 68 lbs. Add on the Baer 6 piston 14" front brake setup and that number drops down to the mid 50's.
I don't see you shaving 203 lbs with a frame swap. If you add lightweight wheels, drag racing brakes, an aluminum radiator and all aluminum engine, you might be getting close to that figure.
I'd love to see pics of the fully loaded frames on a scale.
