Old thread I know. But chin is the only other guy I know with a S13 and the vette acc.
I was wondering if you had some pics of the engine bay, with all the acc. on it.
I am looking at doing a Procharger and need some help with the fitment, just wanted to see.
I know Ill prob have to move the rad. though. maybe not.

Back from the dead!

Thats how it looked back in April. I'm working on cleaning up the engine bay now, and moving the coils away. Powdercoating or possibly just getting some aluminum valve covers. Also I've been using this crappy pistol grip shifter which is going for a C5-R shifter, suits my style much more.

Default ls1 in 240sx

You need to talk to Blake a 417motorsports in springfield, mo. He has a 240 with an ls1,sheet metal intake and turbo putting out 640hp. Check out his website or call him. He and his crew at 417-865-1314 or check out his web site (417motorsports.net) he should be able to answer any questions you have. He is going to do my 6.0 ls2 in my truck next month. The guy can fab some good stuff. Good luck.

Ya we are trying to make a supercharger kit for the s13 LS1 guys at our shop and have it be allot cheaper than the blowers, that go for about 7k. Im out of town now, im not by my car, so I just wanted to see some pics. to get an idea. Prob will have to move the rad. and the kit will be for the vette acc. for now. We will get some f body acc. and brackets to do that set up also, later down the line.

Dug up this picture

I can tell you I have basically 4 inches between the idler pulley and the radiator. Hope that can help you some more, I would love to eventually have a boosted LS1. either procharger or turbo with wastegate dump = end of world.

Sweet thanks.
From the looks of it, I will have to move the rad. for sure and make a V mount set up, to go with the intercooler. Might not beable to make it a DIY install kit, probably have to make it a in house build at our shop, because of the rad. reloctaion and the fact that not everbody uses the same mounts.

Here is the kit I am going to use. I can get a mock up headunit (the supercharger) from Paxton for $200. If it wont work at all, ill just get a Magnuson or a Kenne Bell blower.
I must have more power ha.

I did a fair amount of research on a procharger setup on a 240sx. It looks like the GTO kit will work perfect, just custom intercooler piping. The only other thing needed would be a GTO power steering pump, pulley and bracket. You should look into that.
