Default correct flexplate for 400 transmission w/ls1??

here's what i have. i have a flywheel that is p/n 12563136. according to gm direct parts, this has now been replaced with p/n 12580709. would this flywheel work with a LS1/th400 setup with a torque converter that has an extended pilot(eliminating the need for a spacer and longer bolts correct)?

thanks,
shad

Default

I will have to do some looking to figure out what the number is, but my stock '98 flexplate worked fine with my TH400. I just used a spacer for the converter pilot, and bolted it up.
