HELP ME....Please I'm putting a 02 LS1 w/4L60E into my 69 Camaro. I have the ATS mounts, Autokraft oil pan. The oil pan and alternator are hitting the sub frame crossmember. I can not get the motor mount bolt holes to line up. Its as if I need to go lower another 1/2 inch or so, but like I said the oil pan and alternator are touching. Any Help will be appreciated, Mike
Also I thought you could use the stock exhaust manifolds with the 90 Iroc box installed. Looks like you will not get the o2 sensor in???????????

No notching required! you may have to clearence the motor mounts, of course all mounts are NOT the same, there's a little lip that needs to be ground off, it should then sit down on the frame mounts
you need to compare the frame mount to another car the Alt, and oilpan should not be touching the subframe, post some pics,

I notched my subframe to clear the a/c compressor,everything else cleared fine. You can use stock manifolds with a fast ratio box but,you will have to modify them some and weld-up the O2 sensor hole.

Thanks for the help. I found out I have the small block 350 frame stands. I needed the 327 small block stands. I drove to NPD in Ocala and picked them up. Motor slid right in place. I ditched the manifolds and ordered the Hooker long tubes. Hope I don't have to pull the motor to install them. Mike
