Default mounting the PCM

what do you guys use to mount the PCM? in my mustang it looks like it will be going in front of the right side strut tower but im not sure how to hold it in place. thanks, rich.

You can get one of those stock mount, I got mine from a S10

I used the S10 mount also, I think the P/N is in the FAQ

The S10 mount is pretty slick. Nice & flat, big lock to hold it in place.

Best part is its around $10 or $11 from a dealer that'll give you competitive prices.

If the part # isn't in the FAQ, have them look up an '01 or '02 S10 with the V6, 2wd or 4wd, should't matter.

made my own mounted inside the car. Slides in and out. Cut a "V" in two peices of flat stock, slide them on the computer, tack weld where you want it, remove computer and finish weld.

made mine as well mounts over the glove box seems to work fine

****. i guess the 98 PCMs are different than later models. i looked at some pics of 02 S10s and they are flat on one side where mine is not oh well it can't be harder to make than half the fabrication so far.

I used a Silverado PCM mount..... it's kinda clunky and mounts the PCM at an angle but it was free!
