Question Going to put an LT1 in a 72 camaro but...

just wondering where and How much I could get custom mounts to make an LS1 fit into my car?? thanks for help.

I know there are a cople of guys on here who have done this you might want to try and search for thier threads one of the has some step by step pics on his site

This is a drop in swap. S&P style adapters bolt to your block and stock V-8 motor mounts bolt to them. This has been asked and answered numerous times, you will find a lot of info if you search the forum. Lots of other folks make mounts also (TeeToe Jones is one of them).

haha i was pretty sure of that too! thanks, do you know where I can pick those up?internet only? im in sacto CA. thanks for help.

There is alot of good information on www.nastyz28.com for us second gen guys....

I went with motor mounts from www.brphotrods.com as I intend to keep the A/C in my Z and the BRP motor mounts will allow me to re-use the LS1 compressor and no modifications to the oil pan are nedded.
