Default fuel line

alright i've got the corvette fuel press reg, the 2 russell fitting for back to the tank, so all i need is a piece of fuel line for the output side (male with the bead) where can i find a piece? i only need about 6"-12". junkyard stuff is mostly plastic right? autozone, oreillys, napa started out with the fuel hose is over there or what kind of car? (73 firebird, 02 escalade 6.0L, 99 vette fpr) imagine their confusion. s&p $28 no way. thanx joel

What did you mean "female with the bead", the output side should be a male line with a ridge/bead on it. If that is what you are looking for you should be able to get it at almost any autoparts store, look at the fuel line repair stuff, or the HELP section. They should have plenty of different choices, the one I picked was made by Dorman and I think I bought it at a murrays.

Here ya go:

http://www.midwayautosupply.com/deta...iption.asp?244

3/8" female connector DOR-800-121 www.midwayautosupply.com $7.36
5/16" female connector DOR-800-120 www.midwayautosupply.com $7.36
3/8" x 12" double ended male connector DOR-800-155 www.midwayautosupply.com $9.57

If you call around Ft Worth, you should be able to find a parts house that stocks Dorman products, I live in a town of about 20,000 and can find them at 3 different stores.

Good luck

Thumbs up Eaton/AeroQuip Has It All...

Get a hold of an AeroQuip Catalog(now called Eaton-AeroQuip). It is a thin counter top catalog that they hand out at any Eaton-AeroQuip dealer. All the fittings that you could possibly need are in the catalog. Adapters that slide over your existing hard lines(tranny and fuel lines) & allow you to then thread an adapter on,(which they have in steel or aluminum or brass) & go from there. They also have the blue or black push-lok fuel hose(#FC-332-06) in all sizes along with the push-lok fittings(again, in aluminum or brass or even nickel-plated brass) to go along with the hose. Nice catalog to have. Gar

Any local parts store should have it.
