ls1 into 65 c10, use old 6speed?

ls1 into 65 c10, use old 6speed? Ok I have a 6speed on the back of my carb. 350 in my truck. It is out of a lt1. Can I use the transmission on an ls1 with a different flywheel or do I need a t56 for a ls1? Thanks

I talked to mcloed a few weeks ago about this same thing. The tech told me they could do a custom flywheel that would make it possible. He said the flywheel would run about 400 bucks.
