Has any one had a problem running solid motor mounts with a rubber trans mount? I just got my s10 running and thinking the trans mount should be solid. any thoughts?

Solid engine, yes. Solid transmission, no.
The frame will still flex and the transmission tailhousing will be the one to let you know by how much when it fails. Keep the trans poly/rubber and I doubt you will ever see any breakage problems.
