any conversions having fuel problems? i have a cell in my vega 16gal w/foam and everytime i get on it hard itll cut out completely and buck hard. not just die down from not having enough fuel, but almost completely shut off, i have a walboro 255lph inline pump and a corvette fuel filter with built in return i beleive its a fuel pressure regulator thats built in. i havnt checked the codes on it but i will soon.
does anyone seem to know what the problem might be with this? is there some kind of sensor for in the tank to read the pressure or anything? the ecu is stock. with a painless wiring harness.

It sounds like even with the foam, the fuel is sloshing away from the pump pickup and losing fuel pressure. All OEM setups have a baffled reservoir in the tank that the pump draws from to prevent this. To tell for sure, hook a pressure gauge with a long hose to the fuel rail on the motor, tape the gauge to the outside of the windshield where you can see it, and go for a ride. Hope this helps.
