Default LS4 in MR

Looking into shoving an LS4 into a Mid engine rear drive.. and have a few issues..

1. Throttle body is 100% drive by wire on LS4, and i have a cable... should i source the pedal position sender for the ls4 TB? or can i just plug in and not use (let dangle basically) the ls4 TB and run an LS1 throttle body off my cable? Will this be sufficient to 'fool' the system?

2. Also, will I have to run O2 sims (cattless). I am not worried about cel's but i am worried about being thrown into some kind of low power or limp to dealer mode.

3. Plan to turbo at a modest 5psi. I am wonering if i can get away with stock computer/injectors, and just tune by a raising rate fpr, say at 1:1 or 2:1 and trust in the MAF meter, and a Methanol inj. kit?

thanks

PCM tuning will be your friend. You can flash the PCM with a profile matching whatever hardware configuration you plan to run. So, you can run a cable throttle body, the O2 sims become unnecessary, tune the PCM to properly fuel while in boost with whichever FPR you choose, turn off the VATS security so it will actually start and run, etc. all with PCM tuning. There's no need to "fool" anything, when you can make it all operate properly and happily. The check engine light can even be made to respond properly by enabling or disabling the appropriate tests and test responses.

Since the LS4 uses the new E40 ECM I would stay with the electronic throttle and just add the ETC pedal to your project vehicle. It works very well!

That's the thing-either way will work, with the proper parts/PCM/tuning combination. There's literally enless possibilities. Speartech has a handle on all these options, its the root of their business.
