Fuel rails?????

Default Fuel rails?????

I know this question has been asked before but I can't seem to find it in the search. I have a 2000 LS1/T56 that I am puting in a 56 chevy. The question I have is can I run an external fuel pump and corvette filter/reg. and what will I need to do with the rails so I only have to run one line to the front of the car. The motor comes out of a SS Camaro 2000. If this will work I will be running 3/8 line to front of the car. If I remember right there is one large line and one smaller line on the drivers side of fuel rails. Thanks for any info you can offer.

If you have a stock 2000 fuel rail you only have one 3/8 line going into it. You may be thinking of the purge line that is close to it but that is going to the purge solenoid, not the fuel rail. If you use the Vette filter/reg and run the line up to the fitting on the rail you're good to go.

If you're not using a purge canister you can remove all of it (including the solenoid) and just put a vacuum cap on the intake manifold port.
