Fuel pressure regulator plumbing?

I use the #1 diagram. I have the A1000 pump and boost referanced regulator. I have the -8AN feed line going into the regulator, then -6AN as return and -6AN from the regulator to the stock Vette fuel rail. I had to run it this way with the stock rails.

im gonna be running mine off the stock rail after the rail, then run a 3/8 hard line back to one of the stock return lines in the back of the car using one of the plastic lines using an adaptor. waiting for the parts to come in and then ill show some pics

Bringing it back!!
The setup:
Stock ls1 + maggie at 10psi
Motoron 60lbs. (63lbs.)
Walbro 400lhp
Aeromotive fpr.
Basically.... the car is plumbed similar to pic #2 however we are using the stock feed line for now with a -6an return. Its boost referenced and the reggie is set at 58psi.
The issue that im having is that at wot the fuel pressure will jump to 68psi (referenced 1:1 with approx. 10psi of boost) however instead of holding steady it'll drop back down again so at redline the fuel pressure is reading around 54-52psi.
But the weird part is that the car is not going lean at wot. She pulls hard and smooth... we had this problem before and its quite noticeable.
So.. could it be a boost leak issue? Or could that stock feed line be the problem and keep up even though the fpr should keep the pressure stable.
