Default Anyone try this?

i have a '97 T/A. i have looked all over but kind seem to find if anyone has ever swapped the LT1 for an iron block "LQ4" or "LQ9". i have even looked at the truck site. i figured you guys could help. love to do a true LSX swap but my other toy ('65 Lemans, aiming for 10's before doing a homebuild twin turbo this spring) is a big money muncher. that and i feel comfy with iron blocks. what all do i need to pull from a doner. thanx for the help and quidance.

everything. Dash, every harness on the car inside and out. fuel lines, steering colimn maybe? I helped my friend convert his 97 v6 car to an LS1. Unless you like cutting and splicing....you need EVERYTHING. An entire donor car would be perfect and make it easy.
