Another one comes to life Today was the big moment for me, time to start her up for the first time. I bought this engine of eBay and knew really nothing about it.
Anyway after priming everything, it took almost a minute before the oilpressure started to show, it was time. Only drawback after bleeding the fuelrails was pouring gasoline on the floor. I had missed to tighten one of the fuelfittings at the regulator/filter.
It took some cranking but it soon sputtered to life and it started to response. Some pedaling on the throttle and it went down to idle. I let in run for only three minutes since the fuellines was still leaking some. I guess the flaring for the AN-fittings needs some redoing.

Another one comes to life Congrats! I've been watching your build you have done a great job. I pulled my motor yesterday out my 69. So now just looking for an ls1. Get your fuel leaks fixed and do some burnouts. John
coil covers I read your website and had no idea that anything like this existed outside the us. I know dumb americans. I didnt think there was this much of a following of american muscle cars outside the us. I have a question about the coil covers. How do they mount to the valve covers? I see them on lots of cars, but nobody explains how they mount. Is there some type of hardware or what? Great car man, good job. Thanks, Josh
Beautiful Installation! You do some excellent work! One of the cleanest & complete swaps I've seen on the internet. Wish you lived over here in the U.S., Then I could hire you to do my next LS1 swap so I don't have to!
