Aternator Not Charging

I am going to see if I can reslove my charging problem this weekend..

I have a 99 LS1 and PCM, I have found in the FAQ that the C2 Pin #15 goes to the Alternator Term B to excite alternator to start charging.

Question. What voltage should I be reading from C2 Pin #15.. 12+v or less (5v ?)

I read that the 98 get a resistance or dropped down voltage from the warning light. I don't want to blow the alternator debuging it with the wrong voltage and checks.

Do you have a resistor or bulb inline? Might just take it to get tested so your sure it works.

C2 Pin #15 should be putting out around 11V or at least that was what mine was putting out when I checked it. Check the red wire as it goes into the plug that plugs into the alt. I have heard that the wire is fragile and tends to break as it enters the connector.
