Cold Air Intake
Cold Air Intake Ok, so im pretty much figured out i cant fit a 4 inch intake under the hood the way my motor sits so I am trying to figure out what size intake i can fit 3.5" would be hard but 3" would be optimal for fitting. Now the question is 3 inches large enough to flow for the LS1 or do I need 3.5" I know there is a point of deminishing gains but what is that point? What size intakes have you guys used?

i was wondering the same.
i know how you feel. i barely got 3.5" on mine. its right up against the rad and only like 1/8" from the power steering pulley. on the first drive i stopped the car fairly hard and poped the hood and it didnt rub so i left it. from pics i seen your motor and mine are very close to the same spot.
