These fitting convert the stock MCs and throw out bearing fittings to a standard JIC -3 line. Once both ends are standardied you can make a line as long as needed.

these fittings change the clutch specific roll pin fittings to -3AN.

you can use them to connect the T56 Slave to the stock S10 using a common, availible -3an line.... or you could even use the stock tranny line (if you wanted.. it does have undesirable restrictors in it) if you had a hydraulic shop press -3 an fittings on it.

How snug are the russel fitting as I was told they had some play....
They are a fraction of the cost of buying two mcleods.

Also, if your line gets broken where it joins the quick disconnect, you can't buy just the stock line. You have to buy a complete master cylinder/line kit for $135 to $150. Wish I had known about these fittings when I did my conversion. Someone had broken my line, when they removed the engine and tranny, so I had to spend way too much money to replace it.

summit has the russell deals backordered till 3/27 now and show $18.99 and don't say on their site if its one or two fittings. i'd try the link above

yeah the roll pin pushes/taps out, and releases the stock line. then the fitting pops in and roll pin is reinstalled, and you make a -3 line or have one made. it might be a good idea to have a hydraulic shop make your line unless there is a teflon lined high pressure hose out there easier to work with than russell powerflex. i ran -3 for my rad overflow and -6 for my power steering and it was a pain in the hands to put together.

Check these out from Earl's:

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...5&autoview=sku

They're -3AN to -3AN braided Teflon lines in various lengths. Should be just the ticket all of us need for our clutch setups.

yes, there are places with them in stock.

i suggest typing the part number in froogle... (its googles shopping engine)

thats how i found the place where i got mine.. they were really cheap, and they work great.

as far as the line goes, there are ALOT of premade -3AN stainless brakehoses availible in various lengths... i think one of the links above has summits list of them.

The -3AN line is plenty big to move enough fluid for the T56 from what I've read.

Anyone know how long the stock line is on the F-body's? What size is needed to just replace the stocker with the new fittings and a braided line?
