I have been busy getting the 402 together for this car. I hope to have it back running this summer.

Well I got a few things done on the FD. Cleaned and painted the engine bay, installed the 929 master, put the brembo's on and painted them, then test fitted the CCW wheels.

Got the Brembo's all painted and back on.

Then I found the EVAP box mount still in my car and got to thinking. HMM, maybe I can use this for a fuel filter mount. Sure enough I did not even have to drill any holes. Got 2 scews and washers bam.

Just hope it clears the cobra diff. I will find out soon.

I noticed something you might have issues with later. On your fuel pump assembly that drops in the fuel tank. You reused the factory white mazda plug on top of the fuel pump assembly to get power to your fuel pump. I reused that same conector on my swap, and after being on the road for seven years. That conector will appear fine from the outside however internally the contact points were all burned up. Im assuming the extra amps from the large fuel pump eventually cooks the conector from the inside out. The best fix for this is to get a small bulk head and run some good size wire through it and to your fuel pump

I also see you have a walbro pump from the looks of the connector in that pic. I have the Bosch 044 it does pull less amps then that pump. I have used it so far with the last engine with no trouble but if I do have a problem I will keep this in mind.
