LS1/ 4L60E trans crossmember for 1968 Camaro....

I believe his opinion is based on the wall thickness of the tubing used.... But since I haven't seen either I am just guessing. All of this is good knowledge for me because I'll probably start getting dirty on my 68 next year. Got the LS1 and the 4L60E from a 99 firebird. Got everything EXCEPT the little wire that goes through the firewall to the OBDII plug. Heard it all run and paid $1,500.00 Think I got a deal? I do. Anyway got the car, found out that it was a "nobody car" purchased an LS1/4L60E, put some metal on it and it's sitting in primer in my brother-in-law's garage. waiting for attention.

the auto one looks fine, it's just a modified TH400 one.
