It woke up tonight!!!!!!! Finally after 6 years of not running and the car just sitting, I found a good deal on a 5.3 out of a truck. Tonight after three weeks of work out in the garage it woke up, not for too long but it was breathing. The motor is a stock motor with a car intake and a BBK throttle body. The car is a 93 Z-28 with a TH400 tranny and a moser 9", used to be a little slow a few years ago. I have a lot of clean up to do on the car but for right now I am glad it just started. Just in time for the snow also 
I do have a 6.0 for the car sitting in the corner but that is for the turbo sitting in the corner also. I wanted to just shake down the car with a slower motor and set-up. Work out all of the bugs on the street.

I didn't have crossmember problems, I bought a pro-fab k-member for the car with ls1 motor mounts. I also cut and notched the tuck pan to fit in this car. The pan sits really low so I might have to get a car oil pan. I modified all of the truck brackets to fit in this car, I will post some pics up later on how I did that, but it looks really close to the corvette set-up. This car is manily for the drag strip so there is no A/C.
And yes it does feel really good again to have it running.
